Our community is currently facing very difficult
financial circumstances, and many are unable to
provide for the needs of their families. Amazing
Grace Fellowship desires to help these families in
our own community, so we established the AGF Food
Pantry in the spring of 2001.
The Food Pantry has been able to help many hundreds
of families since it opened. The number of families
to which AGF is providing food is growing as other
food banks in the area have had a limited food
supply. The Church and church members continue to
bring in donations of food.
Our AGF Food Pantry, has already helped hundreds
of families in our community. But we can’t continue
to do it without you! If you’re interested in
donating, you can shop, and then drop the items off
at the Church.
Our Mission
Statement:
The Amazing Grace Fellowship Food
Pantry (AGFFP) is a ministry of Amazing Grace
Fellowship Church dedicated to assisting those in
financial need with food assitance to supplement
their food shopping. To that end, AGF FP
offers qualifing families boxes of groceries once a
month. In that box, we will offer the highest
nutritional value available. We gladly accept
assistance from public and private aid agencies as
well as from members of the Greater Bangor

Federal, State, and Local guidelines for food
pantries.
Amazing Grace Fellowship Food Pantry
is an agency partner with Good Shepard Food Bank in
Auburn to help feed Maine's hungry. AGF FP

How the Food Pantry
Works
If you are a client of the
food pantry an intake form is done before food is
given out. This is to make sure that you meet
the requirements set by the Food Pantry and our
partners. If you are unable to reach a person
on the church line, leave a message and someone will
get back to you within 24 hours. The
person that calls you back will ask you questions
off our intake form. Then setup a time when
you can come pick up your food. If you don't
have transportation we will send you the food at the
next available time we have. Please bring or
have a picture ID available to pick up food.
If you are wanting to pick up food for other people
please arrange for this in advance or bring the
other person to the food bank with you. The
food pantry is open to everyone, an applications
needs to be filled out and show photo ID.
Food is available once a month per
household.
